Thoughts and Appreciations post-Joy Burst Sept 10 2011

That was fun!!  And this is for everyone who made it happen....

Monica - DrumDeva for sure!  Your energy is tops!  My joy (one of the big ones) was working with you.  Thank you! (drumdeva@gmail.com in case anyone wants to contact her personally or for drumming info.)

Vickey - Your enthusaism opened doors to all that joy today.  Please take a bow!  Thank you!
(marketmanager@comoxvalleyfarmersmarket.com in case you'd like to give her feedback or comment on this event.)

To the drummers who came out to a first-time event to play for 2 minutes, successfully made it a surprise by hiding their drums beforehand - and who held us all in joy with rhythm - Thank you!

And definitely not least - to the dancers!  Some of you bravely broke through personal barriers to risk being there - others were aware of the power-potential and eager.  Rising to dance today you sent a pulse of joy out into the world.  Do you have any idea what that can do?  I can't possibly guess specifics but I can say for certain it will be positive and strong as hearts were open.  Thank you for opening yours extra wide by dancing!  You were channels for joy one and all!

To those who couldn't make it but would like to take part in future Joy Bursts - make sure I've got your email.  Send it to joyfreemove@hotmail.com and ask to be put on the Joy Burst list.

And now...To further the purpose of raising consciousness through joy - here's a challenge - to actually start living our joy - me, you and everyone who understands that by doing so we each balance out a million others living in negativity (see original Joy Bursting post for info on this.)  Personally that brings up a couple of thoughts for me -  1) That's too much power to ignore/not activate and 2) 'Living my joy(s)' - great thought, lots of barriers.  Since the path to living our joy may not be easy to begin for various reasons, here's what I propose:
  • That this blog be a place to declare, chronicle, share, discuss, seek support and celebrate our personal paths to living our joy - just to help us all do it!
I'll post here and you can too under 'comment' and we'll see what happens.

I look forward to staying in touch and seeing where Joy Bursts take us personally and globally.

In joy,
Roberta
PS: Photos and videos were taken of the event so I'll post them here once they're available.

  1. OH YAH ROBERTA! Absolutely let's get working at raising that calibration level worldwide by starting right here in our own backyards! I know I felt joy-filled on Saturday, and from the looks of it (I had the best view from up on stage!) everybody else did too! Let there be joy...
